Independence Day Celebration – 15 August 2018 -: The celebration of Independence Day is an annual observance on 15 August. It is a great significance for the people of India as because this is the day when India got freedom for a long salivary by the British rule. The Independence Day has been declared as a national and Gazette holiday for the people across the country as this country has independently commemorated the independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947However, it was not so easy for the country to seek independence from the English Country as a lot of struggles and hard work by the freedom fighter made it true. Those freedom fighters gave their life for attaining the complete independence without thinking about their comfort. They planned and executed their plan by taking involving themselves in various movements. Later on, after the independence, Pakistan was divided into a separate country and had been accompanied by several huge riots. Those riots result in mass casualties and the people were dislocated from their homes (more than 15 million). As this is a national holiday so the governmental, as well as non-governmental offices, post offices, banks etc, are closed. The thing which is unaffected is the public transport system. This is a kind of festival (national festival) celebrated in all schools and other educational institutes. With very proud and enthusiasm, the Independence Day is celebrated in the Capital of India in which the Prime Minister of the Country hoists the National Flag.
